The next edition of TECNIPÃO will take place from 7 to 9 April 2024, in Lisbon. With this new edition, the event aims to be a lever for companies to present their proposals, with the organization adding a dynamic segment to the event with PACKAGING – Food Sector, aimed at the packaging solutions companies, and ICE CREAM, for the ice cream companies.
Numerous leading companies and brands from the bakery and patisserie sector take part in the event, each year choosing TECNIPÃO as the place to present their innovations to the market. An event such as TECNIPÃO is thus essential to boost this sector.
At the exhibition the companies will showcase a wide variety of equipment such ovens, kneaders, mixers, laminators, dividers, cutters, formers, scales, industrial washing machines, industrial kitchens, hotel equipment; as well as products such as raw materials, ingredients, additives, frozen dough, flours, among others.
Statistically, bread is the second most consumed food product in Europe, following dairy products, representing 17% of the total diet. In Portugal, the average consumption of bakery products exceeds 60 kilos per capita per year and, despite a slight decrease during the pandemic, in 2021 the consumption of bread and its derivatives started to grow again, with an annual increase of 6.8% expected until 2028.
